great affection for both our "boys"!

Mason 2007
Mason 2007

Mason now lives with a wonderful couple,(and a mastiff 4 X his size!) in New York.

We bought our pug Mason from Rhonda over a year and half ago now and we absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE him!
Vanessa

We were blessed with our Mason in December of 2005 and can't imagine how we ever lived without him!! He is as mushy as can be and loves to snuggle all the time... but don't let that fool you because he is always up for a game of 'tug-of-war' or fetch!! We already had our bull mastiff...Thunder...before we got Mason and although Thunder needed a little time to adjust to his new little brother they are now inseperable and do EVERYTHING together!! They snuggle in bed together, play 'tug-of-war' with their ropes and toys, and love to chase each other around the house and the yard. Mason is friendly to other dogs we have had over and loves when friends and family visit...especially children!!  We haven't had any health problems with him or any concerns whatsoever.  As with all pugs, our Mason is full of personality and we enjoy him immensely each and everyday!! "From snuggles and hugs to chaos and noise...we simply can't imagine life without our boys!!"

Marcus, Mason and Raiden are brothers and littermates. Marcus lives with a wonderful couple in Chicago where he is loved and spoiled.

Gracie now lives with a beautiful lady in New York. Gracie is a model for a trendy pet boutique!

gracie is doing just amazing..gracie is generally considered to be the most 'beautiful' pug that people have ever seen. she is also quite unique with her regal attitude. she is described as 'graceful' and 'poised' and charms everyone she meets. but what i am particularly proud of is her social intelligence. she is able to make even the most antisocial dog a friend and has a more active social life than her mommy! she is truly the light of my life.rhonda, i do wish you could come to ny for a visit and meet this little one. you won't believe how special she is!

XOXO

Lulu, now living in California, enjoys trips to the beach with her very loving family!

Lulu is my sweetest baby!!  I grew up with more than 10 dogs, but none of them are as sweet as Lulu.  She is beautiful, healthy of course, and has a great personality.  We are totally bonded.. we go to doggie parks, doggie beach, watch TV on the couch and sleep next to each other every night.  We also join "Orange County Pug MeetUp" where Lulu goes to meet new friends.  Everyone there just loves her!  Lulu means so much to me, and I want to thank dear Rhonda for sweet Lulu who has been bringing me and my family so much joy. :D  Hopefully in the near future we could plan a road trip to take Lulu to visit Rhonda and her lovely puggies.

Puggles, Lady Gwyneth "Puggles" Meyers of Hatch, born December 8 2006.  Puggles is a very special Pug: very smart, full of herself, loving, very active, very sweet - a real blessing to the Meyers family.

Puggles started agility training mid 2007 and is loving it.  She learns very fast, I am the one who needs to catch up to her.  She goes to class once a week and we try to work on her skills daily.  On her first year birthday she took part in a fun agility match and did exceptionally well.  We don't know yet if we want to compete but are thinking about it.

Puggles loves to go on walkies, travels with us everwhere we go practically.  She travels very well in the car, has her own car seat where she and car seat is buckled in.  We go often to a local "Woofie" dog park where she makes all kinds of friends.  She can outrun most of the dogs in the park ---- her tail "unfurled" behind her as she runs.  She met a very special pug at the park named Gus, who is six months older with whom it was love at first sight.  Both look so much alike it is hard to tell them apart at a distance.  They enjoy each other so much that we plan on meeting as much as we can.

We are very fortunate to have a vet who is concerned with preserving the health of his patients so we get the best foods and care available.  Puggles is on a half raw half kibble diet.  She is a slim but very muscular almost 16 pounder. I have to "plug" her food which comes from Nature's Variety.  You can get more information on their web site.

Jack and Lily
I would LOVE to see you & the puggies! And of course, prayers abound for
you & all future Patoka pugs :). As Ive told everyone who will listen, you
ain't seen a pug till you've seen a Patoka pug! I am so very
fortunate to have you and these babies in my life. Jack is quite the
handsome boy isn't he? His head is amazing, and he too has huge feet. His
ears are a little bit fly away, but OMG i adore him. He is a sweet little
man, and no, they arent hyperactive.Active? Yes, but very
controllable. Lily is doing very
well. She is quite the little diva, and a more affectionate soul i have
never met, even more so than Max was. She is def momma's little girl. Jack
has some cute quirks-every night b4 bed, he goes under the bed. I sit on
the floor and show him treats. He sticks his arm out so i can grab him, and
he eats the treats on my lap while Lily is already on the bed with her bone
(sneaky Jack & mom :) ). Its hilarious, and it has to happen every night.
They sure do brighten up our days, James adores them too, as we knew he
would.Ill be taking more pix, and of
course you'll be the first to see them. Have a wonderful, safe & blessed
Christmas!!! Love & hugggssss, Moni, James & the pugs :)

Moose and Winston ("Winnie") Now living in Chicago with a wonderful family!

Winston was our first puppy we got from Rhonda two years ago this June.
Our second "puppy" came last fall when Moose's parents could no longer keep him.  Rhonda took him in without hesitating and then called all the people who had adopted pups from the same time he was born.  We realized after having Winston for over a year at the time, he needed a buddy to play and cuddle with, so we decided to take in Moose.
They are both sons of Cletus T. Pugg.  Winston's mom is Chloe Bell and Moose's mom is Gracie.  They were born about 2 weeks apart, so we kindly refer to them as the Brothers from Another Mother.
They are both in great shape and have the best personalities.  Moose is more like Eeyore - very passive and loving, Winston is more like Tigger - loves to romp and play, but also loves to snuggle with us and the kids.

Moose and Winston with their "Grandparents" in Chicago

Can't believe it's been almost two years since we got Winnie!
The "boys" are doing great.  They have both put on weight even since these photos at Christmas, but they are active and love to play with each other. Thankfully the weather is getting nicer and they can bask in the sun more.
Much Love,
Dawn

Pounchkie with her new family

Image
Thought I'd write again and let you know things are still going great with Pounchkie.
I think Praline has finally figured out how to play with her as well.  It took Pounchkie running behind one of our couches and suddenly Praline came alive and was all about being chased and stealing toys.  Praline is very very good with her.  Even when the little one is bitting on her legs, ears, and tail she pretty much ignores this. They are the cutest when we go outside for a walk, for Pounchkie wants to walk Praline, and Praline just stands there letting this little one pull on her, knowing she won't even be able to budge her.
You've done a great job of socializing little Pounchkie - she doesn't even blink at the vacuum cleaner, and we've had her out and about (mostly at our local Starbucks) and of course she steals the show.  I'm off to give both pugs snuggles before bed.

Take care,
Christina

Hello~
Things are going very well with the little man. We went to the vet yesterday, and Bluto took his first bus ride too!Doctor says he looks really good-gums and teeth are healthy, he's about 3.2 lbs, great joint movement, etc. I must say he handled it like a champ, falling asleep in the carrier! At home he's been a little snuggler. I think he's pretty used to the house along with nate and I. Choosing to go to nate when he's feeling rambutious, and to me when he needs a little nap or sense of security. I taught him today how to walk up stairs, and how to get around in the tall grass. Overall he's been nothing but a joy to live with, even when he gets the little spurts of playing time energy right before he's supposed to go to bed!
Thank you again for all your help giving us the best little man on earth. Hope you enjoyed your stay in Chicago, and we look forward to visiting you and the family-esp the pups, this summer.
Sincerely,
Jen

Marty with his new family

Hi Rhonda,
Marty is doing very well.  Was 10lbs the last time we were to the vet so probably 11-12 now.  Potty training is going well. We are trying to teach him to ring a bell to go out but he likes to just play with the bell. Also likes to bite Mark's feet alot. Mark will be glad when the biting stage is over.  We took him boating. He liked it and swimming too!  He has a little life jacket which is taking some getting use to.  We stopped to see Jack and Lilly about a week ago. Marty did not know what to think at first but they got along really good after a while.

Well Hope all is well with you guys - Take care

Patty

Orange Julius with his new family

Image
Hi Rhonda!  Well, Julius had quite a good night!  I was worried at 1st because when we got home, he wouldn't eat or drink (although he did go potty on his pad twice!).  After 30 min or so if getting used to our kitchen, he walked into his crate, and slept for a solid 3 hours!  Slept through our dinner (essentially right above him!) And the kids bedtime rituals (always noisy!) I came upstairs to check on him (just like with a newborn baby--WHY is he still asleep??), he was sitting happily in his crate, chewing on a toy! At that point he ate some (still not much), but drank a bit.

He went up to his bed in our room, awoke twice to go potty, then right back to sleep! Each time, we walked him into our bathroom, where he found his puppy pad, and knew what to do!!  We had a few other episodes of crying, but he immediately calmed when we patted him, and right back to sleep!  What a good boy!

Today he has eaten well, rode in the car when Emory went to school, and on to the vet for a check--all clear!  Since then, he has had 6052 hugs from the kids; lots of sniffing our furniture; several naps; multiple barks to scare away the "other puppy" who lives in our sliding glass door (his reflection!!); and one good long glare from the cat!  A great day for the puppy!  I am so proud that he did so well! As soon as I get our photos uploaded, I'll send you some!
Thanks again and I'll keep you updated!

Winston's new family comes to visit him for the first time!

Image
Hi Rhonda:

Winston is doing great.  He's the pride and joy of the family and he loves the attention. His appetite is good and he's getting the hang of going out side to do is business.  We've only had a couple of accidents since Friday.  Last night he slept through the night without having to be let out.  We also had our first visit to the vet yesterday afternoon and he got a clean bill of health.  Thank you for taking such good care of him.
We'll be in touch.

Just wanted to send you a quick update on Libby....

Image

Betty with her new "Mom and Dad".

Image
Betty is doing great, she has the BEST personality – a good mix between spunky and fun vs. very snuggly and loving.  We notice that she’ll purr when she’s in her really snuggly mood, which we just adore.  She has one more class in Puppy Kindergarten, and she is passing with flying colors! She is a VERY VERY bright pug. Our trainer has been very impressed with her. She can sit, lie down, stay (for a long time), come, get down (if she’s jumping – which she rarely does anymore because of training), and jump up on command too. She loves her “puppy supper time” and her treats. Our favorite thing she does happens when she’s really excited and playflul. We call it puppy explosion – she tucks her tail under, hunches her body into a little ball of energy and runs around the house as fast as she can, turning every which way. It really is the funniest thing we’ve ever seen! Thank you Rhonda for giving us such a great, healthy and intelligent pug! Our lives would not be the same without our Betty!

Best,

Christine and Charles

Hi Rhonda,
The Iverson house is now a home again, with the recent addition of sweet little Toby…sweet ONLY when he’s tired!  So mischievous and energetic, exactly how a happy, healthy PUG should be
We want to say thank you a million times for accepting your life’s calling….being the BEST Pug mommy!  We were first impressed by your website; i.e., photos, history, testimonials, etc.; however, after speaking with you on the phone, I knew you were the breeder for us.  Our expectations were then exceeded while visiting you...  I still dream about your PUG Room!  I am so jealous that you wake up to those precious, beautiful Pugs every morning.Thank you for being so patient during my selection on August 3rd.  Booker, Freddy, and Fievel (now Toby), were equally handsome puppies.  Thank goodness Fievel chose me, or I’d still be sitting in their playpen J!
Your responsibility and compassion as a breeder was evident during our visit.  Your home was free of puppy odors, so clean.  Your adult pugs adored you, amazing how each and every PUG loved you!
Thank you again for everything you do for Pugs, and us Pug Lovers!  The industry needs more caring, “real” people like you and Steve!

Sincerely,
Laura and Chuck

Hi Rhonda and Steve,

I have been so busy and so exhausted since I saw you yesterday, I have asked my new mommy to type this note to you.  I miss you and my family, but this is livin’ !  Here’s what has happened:

I slept almost all the way to WI, no crying, just dreaming of what my new life would be like.  We made it home ahead of the storms, then stopped to visit my new Grandma and Grandpa.  I think I played the role of new grandpuppy pretty well, kissed their faces, nibbled their ears and wagged my little pug tail like there was no tomorrow.  I’m no dummy, first impressions should bring extra treats my way.

I was so happy when arriving at my new home.  I played and played all night, I wasn’t hungry at all, only a couple of kibbles, just couldn’t settle down.  But I made up for it at breakfast…so not to worry.  I have my own bedroom, I think it’s the room where they wash clothes, but that’s okay by me.  I slept all night, no crying, in a comfy bed with my blanky and toys that I will always cherish from you.  I was so tired, that I didn’t make much effort to crawl out in the middle of the night to go potty in the litter box, like you taught me…I just went in the end of my bed.  I believe that my new bed will shrink tonight; I’m a good listener, mom said “we’ll fix that problem tonight”.

Today I was the STAR !!  Neighbors and family just came pouring in…I get ALL of the attention !  Boy, am I glad that I lobbied hard to become “Toby” !  Tomorrow morning I get to meet my new doctor; I’ll pour on the charm for sure; it’s hard not to when I’m so cute !

Thank you Thank you Thank you for all that you did, and do, for all us Pug Puppies…and for the Pug Lovers as well.  I wouldn’t be in such a wonderful home without you.  I will stay in touch…gotta go, more company coming shortly, need to get a quick nap in J !

Love,

Toby

...why is Belvedere SO perfect??? He cleans Ursula and Beatrices face and ears...I LOVE HIM! i love how sweet he is to his sisters. Beatrice is officially back to herself, but better behaved!! She loves him! AND i thought for sure that if we got a little crazy puppy, that he and beatrice would gang up on sweet Ursula, and it is NOT like that at all!!..I just love his little sweet self. he and beatrice just ran around the yard like crazy today, beatrice was so happy! like "finally someone will chase me!" but his little fat legs and feet aren't as fast as hers. THANK YOU so much rhonda, i'm so in love with him. he was meant to be mine.  We'll be sending lots and lots of pictures soon ♥ have a great day! hugs xoxo
