Our "Pugs Of  Promise"...

      (AKC  Show Prospect Pugs)

                   Meng

Image

Meng is the first show quality pug to have joined our family. He is a sassy little sweetie, and knows just how to wrap me around his little paw! He is a clown at heart and a delight to have with us. We look forward to his "Show Career" beginning very soon and the puppies from him, as he is now our foundation stud.

Wendy's Lil Bit of Hatch Haven's Glory....aka

                          " Bitsy"

Image

Careful...don't let this innocent face fool you! Bitsy, also known as "Lil Bit 'O Trouble",  is our funny little clown and our Bitsy Baby Doll. She is as sweet as she is ornery! Bitsy is a gorgeous little girl with a promising show career and the most persistent toe biter ever! She thinks she is the big dog on the block, and not even Cletus can convince her otherwise. We look forward to watching her show off, (as I am  sure she will!) in the show ring soon.

                        Elli

Image

Elli is our special little black "Diva Girl". Not only is she my baby doll and the best cuddler ever, she is our first black pug with show potential. Elli is a lovely short backed little girl with a beautiful face, level top line and perfect ear set. (My daughters call her "Mommy's Girl", which is definitely the truth!)
We look forward to Elli's  possible show career  and  beautiful babies from her!

                  Of   Hatch Haven"

                           "Petro"

Our Pride And Joy,

Petro September 2008

Petro joined our family in August 2008, and what a gorgeous, perfect little puppy he is! He is the most adorable pug puppy that I have EVER seen and the cuddliest puppy to ever be in my arms. Petro has a very sweet temperament, (with just a touch of mischief!) and already at 3 months of age knows how to wrap us around his paw....and yes,he usually gets his way around here.(It is to his advantage that we are grandparents and know how to spoil babies to the utmost!) We will be working with him very soon, preparing him for Conformation Showing. We have no doubt that he will be a finished Champion, if he continues to look as good as he does now. He has an outstanding pedigree, with many Champions in his lineage, including his sire, who is a beautiful and  finished AKC Champion. We are very blessed to have this beautiful boy. Thank you and God bless you, Angela!

Fay Fay and Kinzy

Welcome Fay Fay and Kinzy!

We are blessed with two new and beautiful little sweethearts, Fay Fay and her 10 month old puppy, Kinzy.

The girls have settled in, after only one week, as if they have been here forever. They seem as happy to be here as we are to have them here with us. Although they haven't been here long, they are already very special to us! We are very excited to have them a part of our family.

Again, thank you, Angela with Trinity Kennels!

Our Beloved

        "Pet Pugs"...

               Chloe  Belle

Image

Chloe Belle is the first pug to have joined our family and is responsible for my pug obsession. She is our Diva and Princess Pug, and is often referred to as "Her Highness the Matriarch" And "Queen  Chloe."  She truly deserves the titles and plays the roles to her advantage! Her  one weakness is puppies, she LOVES babies and is a wonderful "surrogate mommy" and helper to the other girl's babies. She also loves stroller rides, sitting upright in my granddaughter's doll stroller.

   Amazing Princess Grace                            "Gracie"

Image

Gracie has the biggest, sweetest heart of any pug I have met. She was the second pug to have joined our family, when we kept her from our Chloe Belles's first litter. Gracie is the groomer here, as she is often kissing the other pugs faces and lovingly cleaning their ears. She has retired from Mommyhood, but is always willing to help out with the other girl's puppies.

           Cletus T Pugg

Cletus T. Pugg was the first male pug to join our family. He is such a sweetie, a really calm boy who doesn't bark, but "talks". (Have you heard the "Pug WooWoo" language? )

Cletus thinks  that he rules the roost here...just don't tell him that it is Chloe Belle who is in charge here!
Sadly, Cletus had to have his eye removed last year, due to an injury 3 years ago. I have never seen a cuter wink, however!

Hatch Haven's My Funny Valentine.....aka

                     " Tia"

Image

Sweet, sweet SWEET  and a special gift is Tia!

Our Tia is incredibly intelligent, and truly a joy to have with us. All who meet her fall instantly in love with her, just as we did. Born on Christmas Eve, she was my 2008 Valentine's gift and exemplifies love!

Although Tia may not exactly be show quality, she is a beautiful girl with a very clear, light coat, short back, beautiful and expressive eyes, nice ear set , and  lovely face. Tia is from an impressive line of AKC Champions on her sire's side. We are watching her fill out as she approaches her first birthday, hoping and believing that she will be a very pretty girl with the structure and qualities of her AKC Champion grand-sire.

           "Emma"

Emma was born on July 3, 2008. She is from Elli's first litter of puppies, sired by Meng. We are keeping this pretty little sweetie! We are watching her grow and hoping that she may have show potential, as well...in the meantime, we are enjoying her antics, cuddling and loving her!

"Hatch Haven's Littlest Angel".......aka

                    "Gabriel"

Image

Our littlest angel Gabriel will be staying with us!

Baby Gabe was born March 10, 2008, with a cleft palate. We were (and are) determined to do all that we possibly can do to save him. All of the time, expense, tears and frequent emotional upheaval has been worth it...Gabriel is truly a treasure. He is a very special little guy, very affectionate, intelligent, and headstrong with a fighter's spirit. Having been bottle fed from birth to 4 months, he is now eating soft solid food on his own and drinking water from a hamster bottle. We are hopeful to soon have him eating dry puppy kibble, lessening the possibility of sinus infections and also perhaps alleviating the need for corrective surgery.(See Hennwood Labrador website for more information.) I would rather not put him through the surgery, unless absolutely necessary.

He is still very small, but strong and active. (Which makes for occasionally losing him in the house, unless he is very closely supervised! )  He sleeps in our bedroom and is our alarm clock, barking (sounding like Donald Duck!) around 7 a.m. each morning. Gabriel then spends time with my husband as he has his morning coffee and watches the morning news. Gabe knows and loves the routine!   He will be 8 months old November 10th,2008. He now weighs just under three pounds, at 7 and 1/2 months of age.

We are very hopeful for a long future with him and appreciate your continued prayers. As stated on the Hennwood  Labs website (and oh so true!), "They ARE worth saving!"

Gabriel was born with a large white marking on his chest, a perfect pair of white angel wings!

In the beginning was the Word... and the Word was God...All things were made through Him, and without Him, nothing was made that has been made..In Him was life, and the life was the light of all the people...the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it
